61 bands. 5 stages. 1 day.
That's the numbers on Bled Fest 2010, an all-day -- and all-ages -- celebration of high-energy rock music in Livingston County. Held at the Hartland Performing Arts Center on Saturday, May 29, this year's Bled Fest features a variety of national and Michigan-based bands.
This year's headliners are Syraucse, NY pop-punchers Polar Bear Club, who'll be joined on the daylong bill by Misery Signals, The Bled, Strike Anywhere, and more. Michigan bands The Swellers and La Dispute are among local favorites that are becoming nationally recognized, and Livingston County favorites such as Apathetic Critic, Good Weather for Airstrikes, Siren the Escape, and Endeavors will also perform.
Tickets are $15 (advance) and $20 (gate) with a limited number of VIP tickets ($35) that earn you special edition posters, t-shirts and meet-and-greets with bands. Tickets are available online at www.fusionshows.com with no service fees, or at Hartland Community Education, Dairy Queen in Hartland, Discs and Tapes Unlimited in downtown Howell, and Flat Black and Circular in downtown East Lansing.
