A longstanding tradition, the Holiday Art Market in downtown Lansing continues to provide the community with a place to view and display artwork during the holiday season year after year. Showcasing the work of more than 100 artists from across the state, the Holiday Art Market is presented by Lansing Art Gallery, located just steps from the Capitol, making it accessible to more than 47,000 downtown employees, students and visitors.
With the 2010 holiday season just around the corner, the Lansing Art Gallery is seeking Michigan artists to exhibit during this year’s Holiday Art Market. To be eligible, artists must be 18 years of age, and all artwork must be original, completed within the last three years and ready for display and purchase.
To enter, please send 3 – 10 images of artwork in JPEG format (72 dpi) to the Jury Committee at LansingArtGallery@gmail.com, Re: Holiday Art Market entry. Also, include a process statement, title, medium, dimension and retail price for each work. Entries received by Oct. 22 will be notified by Nov. 1.
