Among Friends opening October 7

Friends, kinsmen, countrymen. But especially friends. Come gather on October 7 for the debut run of Among Friends, the first in what promises to be a successful series of fully-staged productions at Lansing's latest theatrical undertaking, the Stormfield Theatre.

Running through October 31, Among Friends tells the tale of three friends who maintain a regular ritual of playing poker together. But when one is caught in the act of stacking the deck, well, let's just say a different breed of card house comes crashing down in spectacular fashion. Written and directed by Lansing theatre legend Kristine Thatcher, the play is a part of the 5th Annual Stages of Law Theatre Festival series, sponsored by Cooley Law School.
